Going Down the Road

     We had a brief interlude before the next bout of power failure came down on us. This is what met us as some of us were driving to our grandparents:

Back in Time

 

Overnight, an ice storm hit.

We woke up to no power,

No school (!!!!) for me,

And a freezing-cold house.

The electricity was off for 10 hours, altogether.

 

Cooking eggs in a cast-iron skillet (please ignore the tin foil - we couldn't rinse anything without water) on a wood stove.

     Last night, we had some snow, but it all melted. Today was a beautiful day. The days are getting longer, and it seems to be the end of winter, but you never know. One year (5/6 years ago, maybe?) we had snow in June. Really, truly. I still remember it.

In house, everything is growing well

First Storm of the Season!

     Suddenly, I have a case of Spring fever. ...

It was a full rainbow; unfortunately, I couldn't get all of it on my camera (which I haven't used for a very long time, because my phone was quite handy). If you follow the arch, you can see that I got more than half of it.

And this reminds me, that I have only 5 more weeks of school left! How is that possible? I can't believe that I just finished "almost-a-year" of college!

Colours of Early Spring

          Shades of Brown

     I have been wanting to post for a bit, but I got busy. Just on Thursday, my phone flew out of my pocket while I was running and it broke. It is very likely that I have lost everything that was on there, so I probably won't have many pictures for a while. I still have a small camera, but it doesn't take memory cards anymore; therefore there is only room for maybe 9 pictures. We'll see how everything goes...

What I Recieved

     Considering that I didn't think that I would pass the first semester, this is very exciting.

When the Window is Left Open

     I didn't think of the upcoming storm. Needless to say, Kittn's water dish was frozen, and I had enough snow inside to make several nice, round snowballs.

Too bad the school didn't end up closing.
