Curiosity Killed the Cows and Apricots and More

Yes, cows are very curious, nosing around and licking you if they happen to like you. They are cute, too. :)

My boss is good and nice - which I am thankful for - and he has offered me as many apricots as I would like from his loaded tree. So tonight, after chores, I was picking. We had already made a couple batches of jam. So, Nussecken ( literally, "nut corners"), here we come!

27th Anniversary

Work, Work, and Work

     I have been working almost full days since I started (haying season), so I don't have much leisure time. It is sometimes fun, or enjoyable, and sometimes I don't like it so much. But I know that, aside from getting paid, it is good physical labour and lots of vitamin D (I have a dark tan, just from 1 full week outside!).
