Sunday was Pentecost; the disciples were gathered in a room, and there was a sound "as of a mighty rushing wind and cloven tongues" appeared on each head that was present and they "were filled with the Holy Ghost" and began to speak in tongues (that is, they began to speak in other languages so that all people could understand). And all the people were amazed that the disciples could speak in all their languages. We celebrated in for 3 days, as it is one of the "big" or important church holidays. And if you are wondering why I am up so early, :) I have recently been going to the local hospital to volunteer there once a week for 3 hours.
I come from a big family, as some people might say, and I really like that there are so many. There can be bad times and good(mostly good, of course), but God is always close in every time. Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:20 and 21.

What do you do at the hospital?
ReplyDeleteWhat I do at the hospital basically is like helping out the nurses, so that they have more time for patients, such as making beds, stocking dressing carts and things like that, staying with patients if they are lonely, and anything else non-medical related that the nurses need.
