Midnight Picnic

Today was a busy day. 

Eating a birthday cupcake.

Playing with the sun.

R having fun with Damaris.

Some nice scenery along the way...

And some more.

A fairytale house.

Continuing on...

Thought it looked interesting.

Basically finished and sort of sparkling.

And now comes the picnic.

Since we had to go away...

I organized a picnic for my birthday supper.

We got to the rental building late, so we worked until quarter to 11.

After that, we drove to the park in the dark. While I set it up, the boys went BMXing and everyone else played on the playground by the light of the van. Each younger child was assigned with an older "watcher."

With the sound of the rushing dam in the background, everyone enjoyed their meal. Especially after all that hard work.
