November

Pictures gathered from November.

Gazing at the wonderment of falling snow.

Bran muffins - yum, yum!

The next day.

The only snowman built so far this year.

Aren't they cute?

Old-fashioned trolley rides.

We made wreaths.

Baking Christmas Cookies

We got started really late this year and, unfortunately, I had exams and couldn't help.

R cutting gingerbread (Spekulatius).

M and L cutting sugar cookies (the ones with icing and sprinkles).
Sorry for the blurry right side - my camera lens has a miniscule dent that causes such awful pictures.

Damaris really enjoyed helping out.  :)

Baked sugar cookies.

Baked gingerbread men among other things.

A Blessed Christmas!

May we all remember what this season is all about; Jesus was born in a lowly stable to humble parents so he could live the life of a servant and die as a criminal - all to be an intercessor for us sinful humans.

Sorry for the late wishes this year. We had a busy week with Christmas Eve preparations; then three full days at church for Christmas Day, Second Christmas Day and Sunday. Not to mention that it was hard to get into the preparations with no snow on the ground.

Christmas Eve Sunset (without any snow)

Unfortunately, it has been a very uncharacteristic Christmas, which has not put us              into the mood to celebrate all that much.

An Apparition

Though this may look spine-chilling, it really isn't; all it is is my shadow from standing in front of some headlights against a foggy night.

Stacking Wood

Henry Ford first discovered how efficient the assembly line could be.

* Yes, I am at school waiting for the first exam of the week to start.
