Mixed Up Weather. Happy Birthday L!

     The weather is always a muddle. It's either raining or snowing. Usually it rains during the night and the next day the snow comes. The wind gives us lots of drifts and, as well as the rain, hazardous driving conditions.

A Name! ...Finally.

     We decided on the name Damaris Ariana. I was quite surprised that Damaris is actually a biblical name, but it is. It is not very common. We were racking our brains for quite a while, trying to think of a girl's(since there are mostly girls in our family, we took alot of our favourite names already)and, preferably, biblical name and one that was not too common. Some of us don't like it so well, but to me, it's a nice enough name. I am glad for that. :)

Happy Valentines Day!

     Well, we got a good Valentines Day present and my good friend also got a birthday present! I have a new baby sister! There was lots of excitement in our house last night and lots of names being thrown around. It took many of us a while to go to sleep. We are all so glad!

Drifts

     It's very windy here, so we have alot of drifts. Perfect for playing and building tunnels. Drifts are alot of fun unless they are on the roads. Then, they are just the opposite.
     Today, my younger sisters took our dog, Google and made him pull around sleds for them! I would have liked to see it. :)

February! And Lots of Snow!!

     I can't believe that it's already February! And I haven't even gotten used to writing 2013 yet. I just realized that in my journal(my handwritten one) in the last week, I had always written 2012! Hopefully, I will get used to that soon. Also, it's back to snow. Yesterday, the public schools had a snow day-there were not good driving conditions. I finally got time to go outside today. I was glad for that "fresh air and exercise"(as my mother would say). The temperature is in the minuses, but not too cold.
     Some people were sick in our house, but it, so far, is nothing major and we usually don't need to worry about that.
