One of my Mottos

If something is worth doing, it is worth doing right.
- from a sign

Whatever you do,
Do with your might;
For things done in halves
Are never done right.
- from a health book (I don't know the author)

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.
- Colossians 3: 23

Work well,
Work hard,
And do it for the Lord.

Clearing a Weedy Garden

It has been cold and rainy the last little while, but yesterday, while the rain had gone for a bit, we started weeding the garden. We've also had an abundance of berries and legumes (beans, peas) to enjoy fresh. My boss has also, once again, offered me apples from his trees. Yummy!
Also, today I have had my last day of volunteer as I head for school in a-week-and-a-half.

Chasing Bitsy.

She started pulling weeds beside me!

Antennae.

Fascinated.

John Deere

I think I am going to miss work abit. :)

A Lesson from Thistles

Thistles are such superficial plants: If you have ever  tried pouring boiling water on them, they start turning brown almost instantly and die within a few hours. They seem so tough on the outside, but the inside is completely empty and soft .

Jumble

This is a random bunch of pictures I always meant to post. Job, animals, sky, and interesting things.

A wolf.

New Driver.

Peek-a-boo!

Barn kittens.

("If you feed them milk, they are your best friends," so said my boss. :)

This poor guy has an eye infection (it must be from all the straw they like to play in).

Apparently, she's going to be sorry when I leave for college. (I guess I made a new friend).

Julie.

Blackie ( I called him Venture, but my boss prefers Blackie and he has the first say. Guess what his favourite thing is to do!)

Outline.

Shadow (or rather, reverse shadow).

Looks so bare without that cherry tree there.

Walking over from church.

Storm clouds.

Hungry calf.

I guess I didn't pay her enough attention.
