" My Lord and My God...."

I don't know, but for some reason this caught my attention from yesterday's (the 1st Sunday after Easter, Quasimodogeniti) Gospel. Peter said that after he had seen Jesus' hands and side. Then Jesus said, "... blessed are those who have not seen and yet do believe."

I Am So Thankful...

  • That the wind was only occasional gusts,
    • That there were several people on hand,
      • And that we had enough shovels, water, etc.
We had tried to burn out some burs, but it ended up burning some of the dry grass, instead, and we were worried for a bit, because the winds gusts swept the flames 10 times faster than without the wind.

Spring Has Sprung(I Thought)!

I really, truly had thought that spring was finally here. And I was so excited(except the mud)! But the last two days have been snow and snow, although the 9-foot drift is long melted. I had taken some pictures, but it was with my film camera, and it will be unlikely that I will be able to get it processed and the pictures developed soon, or at all. (With me, you never know;I am likely to forget.)

He Is Risen Indeed!

A blessed Easter to you and may we all remember what his resurrection is all about.

This sunset is from my film camera - I don't get up early enough for a sunrise.

Licence !!!!!!!!!!

Much to my joy and delight, I finally got my G2 licence although barely. Now I can drive by myself, thanks to the extremely helpful guidance from my Uncle who drove with me almost every day after work for two weeks, even though he was tired. Looks like a batch of cookies are on my list this week!
For those of you who do not know the Canadian licencing system: G1 is the first and is obtained by a written test of your knowledge of the road;after passing, you may drive only with a person who has had at least 4 years driving experience with a full licence. Also, some restrictions apply (zero alchohol in your blood, and no driving between 12 am and 5 pm). G2 is next and if you pass, you may drive on your own, but you still have to keep the same alchohol restrictions as well as limiting the number of people in your car unless they are immediate family. G is the last and gives you full driving privileges.

April Fools

I wonder how this day came to be April Fools. We don't normally do anything-we would have to plan ahead to play a really good trick on someone and we usually forget about April Fools until the day of. Unfortunately, I don't have the creativity to play a trick on this blog. :)
