Maple Syrup Season!

It's Maple Syrup season! My sister just bought the first taffy cones on Friday! They were good. And the Maple Syrup Festival in Elmira is on April 6th. It will be fun to go.
Easter is also next week. The time flew by sooooo fast-Everything is happening at once. Kiwanis is soon...

About Weather.

What I found surprising is that in Judges 4 in the Bible, it actually tells of a judge of Israel who was a women. I would have never thought that.
The weather here has been fluctuating quite alot. Sometimes you think that it will almost be spring and then it gets cold again.

Spring

It was starting to look like spring, but then, the snow came back and the wind began to blow. Too bad. :(  Though I like winter, I still prefer summer over all the seasons.
I can already tell that Damaris is older, for she has grown bigger since she was born. She is already a month old!

Baptism

Yesterday, we gave Damaris to Jesus in baptism following the example Jesus set in getting baptized himself. We will try and teach her in the Christian way.

Happy Birthday, Benjamin!
My brother is already a preteen! Time flies. More, as you get older. His birthday was yesterday, but as I didn't go on the computer yesterday, I will say it today.

Passions Andacht

During Lent, we often have services every Saturday in church members homes. Usually, our minister makes it so that we reflect on each of the Seven Words On the Cross( they are actually sentences, but we call them words that Jesus spoke on the cross) separately. So last Saturday it was at our house as our mother was worried that it may have been too far to go with Damaris. I like doing it.

Home! Finally.

Damaris finally came home on the 27th of February! We are glad to have her here and also very glad to have our mother back home! Mothers do a lot of work, but many people don't acknowledge it or think of it very often. You only realize how much they do for you when they go away or something similar. Damaris never has time to cry due to all the people there are waiting to pick her up! But she is a good baby all the same and doesn't cry unless she needs to. Everyone says the novelty will wear off, but for me it won't. I know that for a fact. They are cute and tiny and I don't think that anyone can help loving them.
On Thursday, I drove the snowmobile for the first time in my life and also rode it for the first time this winter! It was fun!
We are all putting more effort into our pieces for Kiwanis now, as we realized that we only have a month left to perfect everything. Hopefully, everything turns out fine. :)
